This word has gotten a lot of attention lately, especially since the pandemic and rise of mental health activism across the world. We understand the practice on a surface level, often overlooking the connection it has on other habits of ours. It does not look the same to everyone. For some, it means something subconscious, but others consider it to be an active practice. Meditation, yoga and self-awareness are often some faces that it tends to take, despite it being a deeper, reflective art.

An interesting dynamic also arises as we discuss this further - Is mindfulness one singular word, or does it consist of two interlinked entities of having a sound mind and experiencing fulfilment through it?
